(SL), Justice of Peace, ndc bid adieu to the Sri Lanka Air Force today
(17 April 2026), after completing 33 years of dedicated service to the
nation.
Seventeen personnel from the SLAF, comprising one official, one coach
and fifteen athletes, are set to represent Sri Lanka at the 6th Asian
Beach Games scheduled to be held in China from 22 to 30 April 2026.
The SLAF extended prompt assistance in responding to a fire that broke
out at a retail shop in Mahakubukgollawa, Madawachchiya, yesterday (15
April 2026). The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical
fault.
Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
