The Sri Lanka Air Force rugby team triumphed over Police, 22 - 12 on 18 November 2016 in the Division 'A' Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament encounter at Police Park grounds.

Air Force scored their 22 points with 1-try, 1-conversion and 5-penalties while Police 2- tries and 1- conversion.

The game was attended by Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke and the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy.
