A Dharma Deshana programme presided over by Ven. Ambagamuwe  Sanwutha Thero was held at SLAF Headquarters on 15 March 2017. Chief of Staff of the Air Force Air Vice Marshal DLS Dias, Director Health Services Air Commodore  LR Jayaweera, Director Welfare Air Commodore WMKSP Weerasinghe, senior officers, other ranks and civilians participated in the programme.
