The 120th Airlift Wing of Air National Guard, Great Fall, Montana USA conducted a Mobile Training Team (MTT) event from 08 to 12 September 2022 with a participation of 06 Officers and 09 Airmen of SLAF representing different fields of involvement in airfield ground operations.

The course was conducted as a part of the USA and Sri Lanka State Partnership Programme and the five-day programme covered pallet build-up and cargo loading, weight and balance calculations, refuelling and defueling and handling of special ground equipment of C-130 aircraft. Alongside the theoretical knowledge, hands on experience were shared amplifying the significance of the programme.

In addition to the above, numerous military-to-military engagements were undertaken during last few years between Air National Guard Montana and SLAF through the State Partnership Programme to support defence security objectives of the country.
