The Handing Over/ Taking Over parade of Ground Training Wing SLAF Academy China Bay took place yesterday (08 March 2023) where outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain HMC Herath RSP, handed over the command to Group Captain DSS Seneviratne USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain HMC Herath, will subsequently take over the duties as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain DSS Seneviratne, held the appointment of Commanding Officer, No. 27 Regiment Wing, SLAF Base Ratmalana, before being appointed as the Commanding Officer at Ground Training Wing, SLAF Academy China Bay.
