The Defence Attaché of the Embassy of Italy to Sri Lanka, Captain (Navy) Armando Paolo SIMI called on the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera at Air Force Headquarters today (05 February 2026), on behalf of the Commander of the Air Force.

The meeting featured a brief discussion between the Chief of Staff and the visiting Attaché on matters of mutual interest, followed by the exchange of official plaques to mark the visit.
